The governor of the province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, announced this Friday that Starting Saturday there will be free and federal vaccination with the second booster dose against Covid-19 for all those over 18 years of age who have completed at least four months since the inoculation with the first booster dose.
The immunization will be carried out in all the vaccination posts that were located in the 135 municipalities, without the need to have a shift and with the only requirement of having completed 4 months since the last application.
Since the launch of the Buenos Aires Vaccinate program, nearly 16 million people from Buenos Aires began their immunization schemes against the coronavirusreaching coverage of over 94 percent of the population.
Also, about 14.5 million received the second dose and more than 8.9 million received a booster component.
The Governor made the announcement during his visit to a vaccination center in the municipality of Escobar, together with the Minister of Health, Nicolás Kreplak, and the local mayor, Carlos Ramil.
