The search for missing people continues in the Mantaro River and they only find a minor's shoe

The intense search for Edwin Casahuilca Orejón (42), driver of the white Toyota Avanza truck with license plate BZC-276, which fell into the Mantaro River in the Mantacra sector, in Marisca Cáceres, Tayacaja, Huancavelica, continues.

The community members have joined relatives of the other 5 missing passengers: Eusebio Romero Cóndor (39), Abdías Sotomayor Ponce (74), Gilberto Ponce Javier (45), Ana Pomachagua Galindo (43) and the youngest Elsin GP (10), whose shoe was only found after 4 days of searching.

“Every day we are going to look for them in the river. I only found my daughter’s (Elsin) shoe, but there are no remains of my wife (Ana Pomachagua) and the other passengers. We ask that divers be brought to us to find them,” Armando Guerra said, asking for the help of the National Police. According to them, the agents were only there the first day.
