The Mayor’s Office of La Paz reported this Monday that the School Basket will be distributed from Tuesday to Saturday in the last two weeks: from November 23 to 27 in the Periférica and San Antonio macro-districts, and from November 30 to December 4, in the South and Mallasa macro-districts.
This change of dates in the distribution of this benefit for students was coordinated with the state Food Production Support Company (Emapa), which was awarded the provision of the 10 meals and distribution to the parents of more than 137 thousand students in public and agreement educational units of the municipality of La Paz.
Mayor Iván Arias explained that it is more convenient to deliver every week from Tuesday because on Mondays there were problems in the supply of products at the distribution points.
Since the distribution of this benefit began on November 10, 66,038 school baskets have already been delivered in the Centro, Cotahuma and Max Paredes macro-districts, in the La Paz municipality.
