Compared to January-December of last year, tax revenues grew 5.0%, specifically the ISR grew 1.6% real annually; with a collection of 2,641 billion pesos; VAT grew 0.5% with 1,422 billion; the IEPS grew 34.2% with income of 623,847 million pesos; and other taxes, between foreign trade and new automobiles, grew 12% with income exceeding 33,590 million, the official explained.
“We are one week away from the end of the year and we are sure that the goal will be met. What the SAT has done is collect taxes appropriately; fighting corruption and privileges increases tax collection. Maintaining the right of Pemex as a new right, they remember that we raised the right of exploitation for the well-being of the people of Mexico, which is 30% of Pemex alone, we are sure that we are going to comply with it,” said the president.
“Then it is simply honesty, which is what characterizes the SAT team, this is important, because no other country proposes the essence of fighting corruption and privileges to have more income for the treasury,” added Sheinbaum.
