The information from the Treasury highlighted that the collection of fines is concentrated due to the concept of tax correction, which went from 7,316 million pesos to 26,769 million; more than triple.

This concept also went from concentrating 80% of the money collected from fines in 2019, to 88% at the end of 2025. Of the four main concepts, it is the one that captured the proportional growth with respect to the total; the others decreased in this same period.

Among the most common errors, which result in fines, are the omission of income in a fiscal year, erroneous calculations of provisional payments, in addition to not reporting income from interest, dividends and capital gains, according to information from Siigo Aspel.
