There is sadness and discomfort in the amateur cycling union of Barranquilla due to the accidental death of Andrea S. Rueda A.
The 32-year-old woman, a member of the group Caribbean Cycling Club, It would have collided with the back of a taxi when it was moving along Carrera 51B with Calle 94 in the early hours of Thursday, November 17.

According to the first hypotheses, Rueda would not have observed the public service vehicle that would be parked on the road waiting for a user who had requested the taxi. The cyclist was going at a considerable speed and the strong crash occurred.
The accident occurred at 4:40 in the morning. After the collision, the driver got out and that is when he observed the cyclist lying on the asphalt. “She gives her first aid, transferring her to the Bonnadona Clinic,” the Barranquilla Metropolitan Police mentioned in a report.
Hours after his admission, he passed away.
