The sale of Banamex enters the confidentiality phase

In April the data room was opened o data room for those interested in acquiring the bank to sign confidentiality agreements. Banorte and Santander have stated that they have already had access.

Manuel Romo did not give details of when this first part will be closed because, he said, there is great interest in participating in the sale process.

While the sale process is taking place, the bank said it is working to attract more customers with debit and credit cards. Presales with Ocesa

The bank’s CEO also said that the agreement with Ocesa to pre-sell concerts was renewed last February and that they have the best offer.

Ocesa signed an agreement with HSBC so that the bank can also offer pre-sales for concerts and events.

“The agreement and proximity that we have with Ocesa has been going on for 30 years, it is an agreement that we renewed in February and this allowed us to strengthen the offer of credit cards. There is no other agreement as comprehensive, there is no other pre-sale agreement larger in the market. It doesn’t depend on whether there is one concert or another,” Romo said.
