The wage index increased 90.4 percent last year, which placed it 4.4 percentage points below the consumer price index, which was 94.8% in 2022, reported the National Institute of Statistics. and Census (Indec).
Last year, the evolution of salaries was not uniform in all sectors, since the salaries of the registered private sector increased 93.8%; public employees, 99.4%; and unregistered workers, 65.4%.
