The rise in Covid-19 cases in Bolivia does not stop and reaches 11,002 cases in one day

The number of coronavirus infections in a single day it reached 11,002 cases this Thursday And that figure is triple the worst moment that occurred in the third wave of Covid-19 that the country experienced. Santa Cruz is the center of the fourth wave and this Thursday it registered 6,143 positive cases; followed by Cochabamba, which reached 1,213 cases; the southern Tarija recorded 832 cases, La Paz 812, Chuquisaca 806, Oruro 455, Potosí 447, Beni 266 and Pando, which is the only department that registered 28 cases this Thursday.

As for the deceased, this day there were 40 deaths. And Santa Cruz, was also the worst hit department with 18 patients who lost their lives due to the virus; La Paz follows with seven; Oruro with five; Tarija with three; Pando, Beni and Chuquisaca reported two deaths each; Cochabamba, one and Potosí did not regret deaths, making a total of 40 deaths.

On a national scale To date, 19,888 deaths have been registered; while the total of positive cases of Covid-19 add up to 652,819 in 22 months that the pandemic already lasts.

In the case of patients recovered, Santa Cruz presented the highest figures with 1,919 People who have already defeated the disease this Thursday, are followed by Tarija with 261, La Paz with 202, Cochabamba with 140, Chuquisaca with 47, Oruro with 25, Pando with 19, nine in Potosí and Beni that did not register recovered.
