In recent months, cases of this type have become frequent and have been reported by more than one local traveler.

All of them were held and ‘locked up’ in the famous “rejection room”, according to what they report.

Through an interview with W Radio, Colombian youtuber Pablo Rabelo, who was inadmissible and deported from Mexico, shared his story and shared audiovisual material.

What is the rejection room?

It is the place of transfer where Colombians and Latinos, who are not admitted by the migration of Mexico.

And in which those who have to spend the night in that place remain for hours, without any food, without a blanket to keep warm, and they are even left incommunicado.

That is why for many tourists it has become the most feared place when they arrive in Mexico.

Some, liken it to a dungeon, are mistreated and discriminated against until they are deported to their country of origin.

For example, on Tuesday, October 4, the case of a Colombian family that was separated by being denied entry was presented.

What did the youtuber report?

Pablo Rabelo, a Colombian inadmissible in Mexico, spoke with W Radio telling each of the details of the place and what he experienced.

He assures that it can happen to anyone, because for a variety of reasons Mexico Migration transfers citizens to said room.

In the middle of his story, Rabelo says that initially, they take them to a normal room where they are held incommunicado and leave them without a passport, at which point they do not explain what is happening.

Afterwards, they are taken to a room where, “they ask you to take everything out of your pockets and put it in your luggage; Also, take off your laces, it’s like a detention room ».

The room has cabins and a bathroom for more than 30 people, with white walls, the bed structures are metallic and without ventilation.

With bad smells, dirt, incommunicado and discriminated people spend in this place, some more than 24 hours.

“They took more or less from seven to eight people, about 10% of the flight, but that room was full of Colombians not admitted,” Rabelo said about the flight he took.

Finally, he explained that the exit does not depend on Mexico Migration, it depends on the airline, taking into account that you must have a quota on a return trip.
