More than 100 soccer professionals from El Salvador participated in the first training sessions of an alliance between the Real Oviedo and the First Division of the Central American country, as reported this Monday by the club.
“The alliance will allow technicians, coaches and club leaders First Divisionwomen’s teams and lower categories have access over the next two years to a training program built on the recognized methodology of Real Oviedo“, indicated the club in a publication on its website.
He explained that these first sessions were held in the capital, San Salvador, and in San Miguel, the second most important city in El Salvador.
This alliance between the Spanish club and the First Division of El Salvador seeks to provide training to technicians and leaders for two years and seeks to “transform the formation of Salvadoran soccer from its base.”
“This commitment, of great scope for both parties, places the Blue Club as a reference and driver of development in the country and opens a stable path of cooperation aimed at transforming the formation of Salvadoran football from its base,” he indicated in the note.
In the delegation that visited El Salvador to sign the alliance by the Oviedo club was Roberto Suárez, sports director; César Martín, director of the Foundation and head of the International Area; and Laura González Manjoya, Director of Communication and Brand.

This group “maintained an intense institutional and sports agenda together with representatives of the local environment” and met with Samuel Gálvez, president of the Salvadoran First Division; Guillermo Díaz, representative of LaLiga in Latin America and Yamil Bukele, president of the governmental National Sports Institute of El Salvador (INDES) and who also seeks to direct the Salvadoran Football Federation.
