The flood in the upper basin reached 3.55 meters, an extraordinary flood, according to Pablo Sauto, director of Searpi.

Through the Early Warning System (SAT), a precipitation of 107 millimeters was registered in the area of ​​Bermejo (road to Samaipata) in the upper basin, as in Angostura, with 73 mm.

“All that rain he went to end up in the north zone. We call and notify the entire population in general to be alert, so that all the activities that are in the lower basin, take due care to protect life,” said Sauto.

The authority added that in the case of the capital of Santa Cruz, a rainfall of 53 mm was reported. He added that there is direct contact and constant coordination with the municipalities to give the corresponding assistance, if so warranted.
