Supreme Court Judge Juan Carlos Checkley ordered the search of the homes of Andres Hurtadosenior prosecutor Elizabeth Peralta and businessman Javier Miu Lei, all investigated for influence peddling and money laundering.

The resolution authorizes the Supreme Prosecutor Alcides Chinchay, who made the request, to intervene in two properties in Peralta, one located in Ate and another in Lince; the houses of Miu Lei, in Surco; and the address that Hurtado declared in his ID, located on the Cisneros boardwalk in Miraflores.
However, according to sources consulted by Peru21The court ruling was leaked without the police and the public prosecutor coordinating the operations.
The order was notified at 8:00 am today to the office of prosecutor Chinchay and indicates that it can be executed within 48 hours. That is, until Thursday.
In addition, the Judiciary announced on social media that the order had been issued.

As is known, Hurtado is accused of having exchanged favors with judges, prosecutors and politicians. He is currently considering accepting effective collaboration to confess his crimes and incriminate his partners and other people who were useful to his interests.
Prosecutors raid Elizabeth Peralta’s home
This afternoon, prosecutors raided the home of suspended prosecutor Elizabeth Peralta in the district of Ate.
This intervention is carried out as part of the investigation into alleged crimes of influence peddling, specific passive bribery and specific active bribery, to the detriment of the State, which are being pursued against the suspended prosecutor, as well as the television host, Andrés Hurtado; and the businessman Augusto Miu Lei.
