Las Reinas del Caribe logran el oro en el Norceca Final Six

The “Queens of the Caribbean” did it again. The Dominican team won gold today in the II Norceca Final Six Cup played in Santo Domingo, beating the United States team 3-0.

The Queens of the Caribbean beat the Americans 25-21, 25-13 and 26-24, with which they managed to revalidate the title they won in the first edition of the Final Six.

The first set was tight at the start, with the Dominicans and Americans taking turns scoring points, until the Caribbean Queens took off and managed to close out the game in their favor.

In the second set, the Dominican Republic kept up the pressure on the United States and, once it reached 10-5, doubled the rival team until the end of that game, knowing that winning that set was essential on the way to gold.

In a decisive third set, the two teams remained level on the scoreboard, after the United States twice managed to overcome the difference in favor of the Dominican Republic.

That game was very close with a score of 24-24, until the Dominicans managed to score two consecutive points to conclude with a 26-24 and win the Final Six.
