The Argentine rugby team, Los Pumas, already has the list of 34 players who will be involved in the two test matches that will be played against the representative of Australia and that will mark the beginning of the Rugby Championship, next August.

Coach Michael Cheika made official this Wednesday the call for the two matches that will take place in Mendoza (August 6) and San Juan (August 13).

Players Nicolás Sánchez, Tomás Cubelli, Santiago Cordero, captain Julián Montoya and Benjamín Urdapilleta will return after various injuries.

The complete list includes Lautaro Bazán Vélez, Emiliano Boffelli, Santiago Carreras, Matías Alemanno, Matías Moroni, Lucio Cinti, Santiago Cordero, Tomás Cubelli.

The scrum midfielder from Salta Eliseo Morales will intervene as a guest, with the intention of continuing to promote his development as a player.

The last time the Australian Wallabies visited Argentine territory was in 1997, when they won 18-16 at the Ferro court. The previous series in which the rival from Oceania played test-matches in Argentina were in 1979 and 1987.

The complete history of clashes indicates that Los Pumas won 6 of 36 meetings. There were three draws and the remaining 27 matches were wins for Australia.
