Maldonado Police found a body in a house this Saturday December 10 with signs of violence. This is a 27 year old man. and is investigated as homicideas reported by the local radio FM Gente and confirmed to The Observer Interior Ministry sources.
Likewise, the prosecutor in the case, Sebastián Robles, indicated that “there are many elements that suggest” that it is the same person who is absent from his home in Durazno since last December 7, although “until some element is scientifically confirmed, it cannot be confirmed.”
In this way, he pointed out that the investigation is already underway and there is already a man in custody; from the Ministry of the Interior they also added that he is a “possible partner” of the victim. From what emerges from the expertise carried out, it can be confirmed if this victim is the same as the absentee from Durazno, if it was a homicide and if the detainee will be formalized.
