The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, made this Thursday a balance on the management of the institution during this year, in which he reported that between January and August 341 cases of bullying have been managed in the country.
He stressed that of this figure 207 are injuries, 34 cases threats30 harassments and 28 fights.
He noted that 241 activities were carried out in Barinas, Delta Amacuro, Capital District, La Guaira, Nueva Esparta, Sucre, Trujillo, Yaracuy and Falcón; with a participation of 9,151 students.
“It is important to point out that for the beginning of the 2022-2023 school period, it is planned to carry out jointly with the Ministry for Education, in 255 educational centers in the country, formation activities aimed at teachers, these activities have been carried out in Lara, Portuguesa, Cojedes, Miranda, La Guaira, Guárico and the Capital District,” said the Prosecutor.
It also reported that on the same date, according to the Case Monitoring System of the Public Ministry, a total of 718 cases were registered throughout the national territory for the crime of sexual abuse of children and adolescents.
On this subject, he added that to date eight activities of the Pedophilia is Crime campaign have been carried out.

The official explained that during the first four days of the Public ministry goes to your Community 3,475 people attended. Of these, 817 filed complaints and 2,658 received guidance or were referred to other agencies.
The most reported issues were cases of physical violence, threats, economic crimes, psychological violence, maintenance, personal injuries and theft.
“Within this plan we have also designed direct attention to complaints, lawyers, prosecutors, general directors at the entrance of each of the Ministry’s headquarters,” he said at a press conference.
“What we are looking for is to break the bureaucracy, to serve the people and the community in real time, and successfully conclude each case that comes our way,” he concluded.
