The Prosecutor’s Office filed a complaint against the management of the Front in the Ministry of Tourism

The prosecutor for Economic Crimes, Gilberto Rodríguez, filed this Monday the complaint against former minister Liliam Kechichian and former deputy minister Benjamín Liberoff, who was investigating direct purchases in the period 2010-2020 during the management of the Ministry of the Broad Front.

The complaint was made by the current Colorado deputy Germán Cardoso, who in turn is being investigated for direct purchases after the complaint of his co-religionist and former director of Tourism, the Colonial Martín Pérez Banchero.

“The complaint filed by the former tourism minister about our management and our conduct was filed. We always had a clear conscience and we put ourselves under the orders of the prosecution. The bad time damaged us and our families. Justice was finally done,” Kechichian said through his Twitter account.

Kechichian, Liberoff, the president of the leftist coalition, Fernando Pereira, and Senator Mario Bergara held a press conference at Huella de Seregni around noon today to talk about this issue.
