He Seventh Retreat It is one of the most anticipated projects by Chileans, and its possible implementation has generated great expectations in the country. The issue has once again become a protagonist because in June 2024 the “political ban” that prevented the discussion of new projects to withdraw funds from the AFP ended. This change has opened the door for legislators to put back on the agenda an issue of vital importance for many citizens.

The discussion in Congress will revolve around five Projects presented to allow a Seventh Withdrawal from the AFPs. These proposals contemplate different withdrawal percentages, from 10% to 50%, and even the option of a self-loan. The variety of proposals seeks to meet various needs and offer members the possibility of accessing their funds in times of economic urgency.
