On the occasion of the Halloween nightthe platform rappi presented figures related to the consumption of users and assured that an average Colombian spends about $350,000 on Halloween.
“The more than 20,000 orders generated by this date show an increase of around 20% compared to the previous year. The most demanded categories were costumes and accessories”, highlighted the app.
However, the platform has highlighted that the vertical of supermarkets, pharmacies and consumer stores saw a significant increase this year, especially in its makeup and confectionery categories.
Also, from the Turbo option, users chose to request alcoholic beverages and snacks, consumption that increased sales by up to 15%.
For its part, the e-commerce vertical projects to have an increase of 8,000 additional requests.

That’s why we activated an exclusive button where people can quickly access the best costume options to celebrate this day with friends and family.”, comments Matías Laks, general manager of Rappi Colombia.
Finally, when disaggregating by region, the ones that most reported a higher consumption through the platform were Bogota, Medellin and Cali.
