The process of interviewing the candidates for the position of magistrate of the Electoral Tribunal continues.

The magistrates of the Plenary of the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ), continued this Friday, October 14 for the second consecutive day, with the process of interviewing the candidates for the position of magistrate of the Electoral Tribunal, in the hearing room of the Superior Court of Settlement of Criminal Cases of the Palace of Justice Gil Ponce.

On this day, the magistrates interviewed four candidates, including Yariela Conrada Melo Murillo de Pierre, Giovanni Enrique Olmos Espino, Rubén Darío Royo Bermúdez and Rolando Eliécer Mejía Mosquera.

Later, in the afternoon, the other four candidates who went through the scrutiny were Andrés Sue González, Gustavo Adolfo Paredes Moreno, Isis Omaris Joseph Garzón and Ingrid Grissella Murgas Torrazza.

So far, the Supreme Court of the Supreme Court has interviewed 15 of a total of 55 applicants, in compliance with the constitutional mandate established in articles 142 and 327, numeral 3 of the Political Constitution of the Republic of Panama, to elect the person who He will replace Judge Heriberto Araúz, whose 10-year constitutional term expires on November 14.

The interviews with the candidates will resume next Monday, October 17, from 1:00 pm and will continue to be broadcast live through the Judicial Branch and the media.
