President Alberto Fernández will inaugurate this Friday the Whirlpool plant in Pilar and will tour the Colcar plant, where it will announce the delivery of 344 ambulances, official sources reported tonight.
The first activity will begin at 11:30 am, in the Buenos Aires municipality of Pilar, where the head of state will lead the inauguration of the new plant of the electrical appliance company Whirlpool.
It will also have the presence of the Argentine ambassador in Brazil, Daniel Scioli; the secretaries of Industry and Productive Development, José de Mendiguren, and of Commerce, Matías Tombolini, in addition to the local mayor Federico Achaval.
At 4:30 p.m., the President, together with the Minister of Health, Carla Vizzotti, will tour the Colcar plant and announce the delivery of 344 ambulances that will be sent throughout the country, in the municipality of Moreno, province of Buenos Aires.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship, Santiago Cafiero, and the Minister of Women, Gender and Diversity, Ayelén Mazzina, will participate from 10 a.m. at the opening of the Meeting for ECLAC’s National Day in the framework of the 39th Period of Ordinary Sessions of the organization.
The ministers of Science, Technology and Innovation, Daniel Filmus, and Environment and Sustainable Development, Juan Cabandié, will lead the signing ceremony of the agreement between the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) and the National Parks Administration at 11 a.m. (APN) to carry out the research campaign in the Yaganes marine protected area.
The Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security, Raquel “Kelly” Olmos, will participate at 12:15 in the closing session of the Hemispheric Workshop “Social Dialogue for the transition from informality to formal labor with rights”, within the framework of the Work Plan 2022-2024 of the Inter-American Conference of Ministers of Labor of the OAS.
