The President of the Nation, Alberto Fernández, and the Ministers of the Economy, Sergio Massa, and of Tourism and Sports, Matías Lammens, announced that despite the future segmentation of energy, neighborhood clubs will continue to have the subsidy in electricity and gas.
The subsidy that will affect eight thousand neighborhood or town clubs, so they will not have a spending limit, is in the words of the president “an act of justice.” In addition, he participated in the granting of the benefit the Secretary of Energy, Flavia Royon.
Alberto Fernández dedicated several prayers in the presentation of the subsidiesit was highlighted: “the true meaning of the neighborhood club is solidarity”, or that the neighborhood clubs “need them to have a better country”.
“These are pleasant moments that the exercise of the Presidency offers me, being able to be close to you. As I always said: the first are the last. I will always be close to the last ones, those who most need the State”, pronounced the president.
To this, he added: “The neighborhood clubs are not just entertainment, a hobby. It is a place where rules of coexistence are learned. There are rules, statutes to respect, to play. We learn what is permitted and what is prohibited. And we enjoy. Neighborhood clubs have that social importance that cannot be left aside, they help to form the spirit of Argentine men and women”.
On the part of the Government, it is expected that the benefit requires an investment of 2,700 million pesos and will benefit one and a half million people who carry out sports activities, cultural or social events in your neighborhood or town club.
Other programs for sports entities
Clubs en Obra, will receive an investment of $2,050 million; Hay Equipo, for $500 million; Federal Sports Infrastructure Program, of $84 million; Emergency support program for neighborhood and town clubs, for $72 million and Assistance Unit of the Institutional Strengthening Program for Neighborhood and Town Clubs, for $40 million.
