Real Santa Cruz is one of the clubs with the most financial problems. The Santa Cruz club has been unemployed at least five times so far this year, and the leadership pays percentages of some of the salaries it owes. The president of the club hinted that Dorny Romero and Jayro Jean will leave in 2023, and did not want to give details of the debt.
Carlos Sánchez, president of Real Santa Cruz, pointed out that they will try to pay all the debts to have a better balance in 2023. “They are going to pay everything that is owed to each of the players, we have always worked for it,” he said.
When asked about the total amount of debts in Real Santa Cruz, the leader chose not to answer. “The debt is something internal and I would not like to make it public,” replied Carlos Sánchez.
On another topical issue, he clarified that there is still nothing official about the departure of the international figures of the ‘Leones del Pajonal’. “Several teams have spoken to us, but the one that has been talked to the most is Always Ready. We have nothing signed or defined (because of the rumors of the departure of Dorny Romero and Jayro Jean).
To end the conversation with the program Vamos Ya, Carlos Sánchez indicated that the club would not have problems to finish the tournament because the contracts of its players extend until Decemberand also left an unusual request.
“Most end their contract on December 31, we will not have problems to finish the championship (…) When the tournament restarts, dAfter the strike, we ask that they give us a week to be able to train and be in better physical shape”, thus being on a par with the other teams that did not suffer the civic strike.
