President Alberto Fernández interacted this Wednesday with “Tina”, the new virtual assistant of the National State that allows you to find out details about 200 procedures, from document management, to the steps to apply for scholarships, subsidies and social programs.
Through the social network Instagram, the Head of State could be seen live accompanied by the head of the Secretariat of Public Innovation, Micaela Sánchez Malcolm, who -as head of development- made the formal presentation.
During the broadcast, the official explained how “Tina” works and Fernandez’s interaction with the artificial intelligence system could be seen, that can be consulted through the page https://www.argentina.gob.ar/ or in the WhatsApp messaging system at number 5491139101010.
“No one ever answered me so fast”The President joked at “Tina’s” first response.
Sánchez Malcolm explained that it is “a solution that is based on artificial intelligence, which has the collaboration of all the agencies of the national State”, and that it seeks to “bring digital solutions closer to citizens”.
The official pointed out that this chatbot seeks to “provide tools that are accessible 365 days a year”, generating “linkage” between the State and Citizens.
“This is an increase in the digital solutions that we have been offering since the pandemic and since the beginning of the administration”Sanchez Malcolm noted.
In this sense, he commented that after focusing on “integrating systems, improving their operation and performance” throughout the State, his secretariat had to take “the next step, which was to generate this kind of single window so that it can be more agile, more transparent and available in real time 24 hours a day”.

“It was a process of a lot of work that not only has to do with the process of setting up the platform to respond, but also a previous work that was done with the Innovation team”made up entirely of women, said the official.
Along these lines, he pointed out that “it has to do with making a record of the most important procedures of the National State, of the largest queries identified by the agencies and of the largest identified in argentina.gob.ar.”
The construction of that database is “a process that takes a long time,” and that required the collaboration of all the agencies.
“The objective is to generate virtuous integration between Tina and Mi Argentina, so that more and more citizens can use the tools, the digital profiles and that we can, in the near future, continue incorporating procedures,” Sánchez Malcolm concluded.
Earlier, presidential spokeswoman Gabriela Cerruti welcomed the initiative and said she felt “proud to continue improving people’s daily lives with a tool that simplifies tasks”.
The President interacted with Tina through his cell phone and the service has been available since this morning on the website of the National Government.
Upon entering this page, there is a button at the bottom right of the screen that, when pressed, allows the exchange with this “chatbot”, that is, with the application that can answer queries from interested parties.
The interaction can be done through the buttons proposed by the application or a box in which you can write terms to consult.
