President Alberto Fernández “strongly” condemned the threats that former president Mauricio Macri received through messages published on social networks, and encouraged that the fact “be quickly clarified.”
“I wish to express my strong condemnation of the threats made against former President Mauricio Macri and various judicial officials, encouraging the investigation to move forward and the facts to be clarified quickly,” the president said in a message posted on his official Twitter account.
In this sense, the President assured that the national government urges “users and administrators of social networks not to allow them to become a vehicle of hatred and violence.”

For his part, the Minister of the Interior, Eduardo “Wado” de Pedro, replied to the President’s publication on his social networks, and stated: “I adhere to the President’s words in condemning these threats.”
