During the commemoration of the 33rd anniversary of the PRD, its leader, Jesús Zambrano, said that this party belongs to social democratic left
and will not allow the federal government to turn the country into a dictatorship
to the end political freedoms and rights

In the Monument to the Revolution, PRD supporters gathered from mayors of Mexico City, markedly from Tlalpan and Coyoacán, as well as from municipalities of the State of Mexico.
The speakers directed their speech against the President of the Republic, who led the PRD from 1996 to 1999, a decade before founding the National Regeneration Movement, today the Morena party.
