The National Police confirmed this Friday that Henry Félix (Mantequilla), 22, was killed by agents of the institution in an area of San José de Ocoa, in the middle of a chase for the death of Sergeant Major Eddy Calcaño Castillo in Baní.
The law enforcement institution indicated that “Mantequilla,” who was actively sought in response to arrest warrant No. 02910-2024, for having killed the aforementioned police major sergeant, assigned to the Central Investigation Directorate (DICRIM), confronted the agents who were looking for him with the illegible brand pistol, 9mm caliber, serial U526236.
The legal action was registered in the Juan Gran area of the province of San José de Ocoa, where the National Police, after arduous investigative and intelligence work, managed to locate “Mantequilla.”

The incident occurred on December 14, when Sergeant Major Calcaño Castillo, 35, noticed that two men were carrying out an assault in the aforementioned betting bank.
According to the preliminary report, both arrived at the scene aboard a black motorcycle.
He adds that Henry Félix entered the bank armed and demanded the employee hand over the money, while Elvin Pérez waited on the motorcycle.

Upon noticing the presence of Sergeant Major Calcaño Castillo, Henry Félix opened fire on him, causing multiple gunshot wounds. Despite repelling the attack with his service weapon, the non-commissioned officer was fatally hit, falling to the pavement, where the attacker continued shooting him until he died.
