The plenary sessions of the V Congress of the PSUV begin this Monday

The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) will hold the Plenary Session of the V Congress on April 18 and 19, in which it is expected to approve the party’s new Code of Ethics, according to the first vice president of the red party, Diosdado Cabello.

“We are convening for the 18th and 19th. On the 18th for them to travel and on the 19th we settle, since in Venezuela on April 19, well, it is the original Constitution of the Homeland,” said Cabello last Wednesday, April 13, during his special program Con el Mazo Dando.

For the PSUV’s first vice president, the Code of Ethics is a tool “in our efforts to fight corruption, crime and bureaucracy.”

During the development of the 5th congress, last March, Jorge Rodríguez, a member of the organization, urged to rescue internal ethics and proposed to establish a more developed code, with more details and strength to meet the needs of the people in political and social matters.

The new document, which will be approved during the plenary session, is part of the organization’s actions in the fight against corruption and other deviations within the ranks of the militancy.
