The Justicialista Party (PJ) of the province of Buenos Aires called this Tuesday to march on March 24 for a “socially fair” country, expressing itself on the new anniversary of the 1976 coup d’état, a date that he considered “hinge in our history” both for the beginning of the last civic-military dictatorship and for the “consolidation of a neoliberal economic model”.

“Breaking up the productive framework, undoing the industrialization process, nationalizing private debts, consolidating the financial mechanisms for capital flight, privatizing state companies, making working conditions more flexible (…) were some of the actions carried out during the dictatorship and that were maintained for more than two decades”, detailed the PJ from Buenos Aires through a document published on social networks.

The provincial PJ called for the march as an “act of reaffirmation” and to be “the voice of those we remember”, to build a “socially just, economically free and politically sovereign” country, and considered March 24, 1976 as a date “hinge in our history” both for the beginning of the last dictatorship and for the “consolidation of a neoliberal economic model”.

In addition, the text rescued the struggle of the Grandmothers and Mothers of Plaza de Mayo who “were beacons that lit the way” in their fight for Memory, Truth and Justice.

Likewise, he highlighted the convictions of the Argentines who gathered against the “2×1” of the Supreme Court that reduced the sentences of repressors and recalled the “memorable speech” of Néstor Kirchner on March 24, 2004 in the former ESMA.

“Our best tribute today is to recover the dreams of our colleagues”added the text and concluded: “We walk for and for those who are to come”.
