THE PHOTO: The snow on the roofs

How beautiful this image, it seems to be taken from a children’s story book. How much peace is breathed in this place. You see the photo and you almost hear the silence. Snow on the rooftops of an old German town. It is Freudenberg, a small municipality in the state of Bavaria. Judging by the photography, it is an Eden.

But here you can see the roofs, the walls and the windows. Another thing is the house inside. Every home, for the one outside, is a mystery. An obsession for the most curious. And the children’s story can turn into a nightmare.

However, there are those who settle for the placidness of the exterior landscape. There are those who do not fall into the temptation of wanting to go deep. They like the reassuring image of snowy rooftops. They love to look at them out the window. Although inside, in his own home, things are upside down.
