The president of José Williams (Avanza País), convened a session of the Permanent Commission for this Tuesday, October 18, where the qualification report of the constitutional complaint against the group of Popular Action congressmen syndicated as .

In the agenda of the session of this parliamentary working group, it is recalled that the complaint was approved by the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations, and was presented by the legislator Patricia Chirinos (Avanza País) against his colleagues Raúl Doroteo Carbajo, Juan Carlos Mori Celis, Jorge Flores Ancachi, Darwin Espinoza Vargas, Ilich López Ureña and Elvis Vergara Mendoza.

Said initiative accuses the aforementioned parliamentarians of the alleged constitutional violation of articles 38 and 39 of the Constitution and for the alleged commission of the crimes of simple and aggravated collusion, improper passive bribery, criminal organization and aggravated influence peddling.

For this reason, Chirinos Venegas requests that the members of the Popular Action caucus be dismissed from their positions and disqualified from public service for a period of 10 years.

Freddy Diaz Case

This Tuesday will also see the constitutional complaints against the suspended parliamentarian Freddy Diaz (not grouped), who is accused of sexually assaulting a former congressional worker.

As you remember, last September the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations declared admissible the qualification report of the complaint against Díaz Monago. However, the pre-trial process was declared inadmissible for the probable commission of crimes of rape and rape of people in a state of unconsciousness or impossibility of resisting.

In addition, the parliamentary working group included in the same process the complaints filed, also for constitutional violation, by legislators Edward Málaga, Flor Pablo, Kira Alcarraz, Adriana Tudela, Susel Paredes and Ruth Luque.

In total, Freddy Díaz is requested for the commission of these constitutional infractions the dismissal and disqualification from exercising public office for a period of 10 years.
