The Municipal Mayor’s Office reported this Thursday that the Air Quality Index (ICA) rose to 146, that is, it jumped to bad range. Diego Rojas, head of the Department of Water and Atmospheric Pollution of the commune, reported that air quality has been deteriorating since Wednesday, when an ICA of 81 was reached, in the regular range.
He explained that, if in the measurement the ICA is between 0 and 50 the air is good, and if it goes from 51 to 100, it’s fair. Of 101 to 150 is bad and 151 to 300 is very bad.

The doctor Juan Carlos Paniagua recommended to the people who suffer allergy, pulmonary sequelae covid-19 and other respiratory problems, avoid exposure in open environments, hydrate adequately and limit physical activity.
