The General Directorate of the Penitentiary System (DGSP) assured that an official who was caught trying to introduce feeling sheets to the Chiriquí penitentiary center will be reported to the corresponding authorities.
This was indicated by the director of the DGSP, Euclides Joel Castillo G, emphasizing that the entity reiterates its commitment to zero tolerance against acts that denigrate the good image of the institution.
Castillo indicated that in conjunction with the National Police, access controls to the country’s prisons have been reinforced. “Let there be full security, that the corresponding investigations will be carried out and officials or custodians who dishonor the Homeland with their actions will be referred to the pertinent judicial instances,” said the Director of the DGSP.
