The payment of utilities picks up in 2022, highlights the Ministry of Labor

The amount for payment of utilities increased 109% this year compared to 2021, adding 183,243 million pesos, commented the federal official.

As far as states are concerned, Sonora grew by 498%, Baja California by 433%, Tabasco by 254%, Quintana Roo by 236% and Colima by 153%.

Tlaxcala was the only entity that had a negative behavior in compliance with this labor right, with a decrease of 3%, said Luisa Alcalde.

The number of companies that delivered profits also increased, going from 98,038 in 2020 to 153,584, mainly due to the entry into force of the subcontracting reform.

Employers had the month of May to pay employees the proportion corresponding to the profits generated.

However, natural persons with business activities that pay utilities their employees have Deadline June 30.
