The Minister of Social Development, María Inés Castillo, reported on Radio Panama that this week the payment of social aid programs is being made through the social key card from March 13 to 24.
These Conditional Cash Transfer payments that cover the Red de Oportunidades, Angel Guardian, Senapan and 120 a los 65 programs.
“This week we will be accrediting and our beneficiaries, who are more than 157 thousand people with a quarterly investment of more than 49 million balboas, will be able to use their social key card,” Castillo explained.
Regarding the entry of new beneficiaries into the programs, Minister Castillo said “Our country has an information system called the National Registry of Beneficiaries, this system did not exist before, and it allows us to really know our beneficiaries with an information system which also allows us in some way to focus and prioritize towards the most vulnerable, to verify that the person really needs it»
