The director for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Cai Weiis in Nicaragua to discuss cooperation issues and programs with the Nicaraguan administration, reported Vice President Rosario Murillo.
In her meridian speech this Monday, April 24, the spokeswoman for the Nicaraguan regime indicated that the Chinese diplomat arrived in the country this weekend, accompanied “by a delegation of advisers and directors of the General Directorate of Latin America and the Caribbean of the People’s Chancellery and Government of China”.
“This delegation is already working on all issues and cooperation programs. Nicaragua and China reestablished diplomatic relations in 2021, after Managua cut relations with Taiwan.
