The paisa and caleño behind the success of Mohamed Salah, Liverpool star and partner of Lucho Díaz

One of the two perfected his technique and put him to score goals.

Colombia News.

Mohamed Salah is one of the stars of the firmament of the planet called: football. The 29-year-old Egyptian is one of the figures in the Premier League playing for his club Liverpool in England.

With ‘The Reds’ he has scored more than a hundred goals and has lifted the most coveted trophy in European football: The Champions League.

At the moment he is one of the most coveted players in the transfer market for big clubs like Real Madrid. The merengue team would be interested in signing the forward and also “keep an eye” on Frenchman Kilyan Mbappé.

While his future is defined, “Mo” Salah continues to win over Liverpool fans and the Colombian fanatic who follows him closely thanks to the camaraderie he has shown with the Guajiro striker Luis Díaz, a former Junior from Barranquilla, who has impressed the press English for his game and his great talent.

About the Egyptian, it was known that his success is precisely linked to two Colombians who have managed to lead him down the path of victory.

One is a Caleño who appears as his personal agent. This is Ramy Abbas Issa, a young member of SPOCS Sports Consultants, an agency that manages different athletes.

Abbas is the son of a Colombian with an Egyptian, for this reason, the working relationship with Salah is very pleasant.

The Liverpool athlete ends his contract with the English team in mid-2023, which is why a renewal issue has already begun with the directors and with coach Jurgen Klopp, who does not plan to get rid of his top star.

Abbas is involved in these negotiations, who has listened to his client’s aspirations: A salary of 400,000 pounds sterling a week, a figure that would put him on a par with the best players in the Premier such as Cristiano Ronaldo.

His beginnings with the African

When Abbas barely knew Salah, he realized that he was a player with great abilities but he had a flaw: He had a hard time scoring goals.

In the middle of a dialogue on a Win Sports program, Abbas received a suggestion from coach Juan José Peláez, which would change Salah’s fate.

The former coach of Atlético Nacional, Medellín, Envigado and Junior de Barranquilla, recommended Jaime Pabón an expert on the subject of defining strikers.

Upon meeting him, both the directors of La Roma (Salah’s former club) and Abbas had a pleasant impression of Pabón’s work and took him to Italy to perfect the definition technique of the left-handed winger.

goals are love

Pabón taught Salah several breathing techniques before finishing and suggested to the teammates not to pass to the foot but to the space to save energy.

Salah always started with the ball tied to his feet from the midfield and when he reached “5 with 50” his body already showed wear and tear and that is why he had failures when it came to scoring goals.

Also, the paisa taught him to make more productive diagonals so that he was facing the goal and not at an angle without much goal option as it used to be.

In addition to the technical part, Pabón helped in the motivational part of the African striker. Since he instructed him Salah he began to make a difference.

The Egyptian went from scoring 66 goals in his time at three clubs from 2010 to 2016 to scoring close to 153 goals between 2017 and 2022 playing for the Anfield red team.

Without a doubt, these two Colombians have been and continue to be a fundamental part of the success of one of the most sought-after soccer players at the moment.
