The victims were identified as the pastor, Marlon Yamith Lora, his wife Yuraly Rincón, and their children Ángela Natalia and Santiago Lora, The latter was sent to a clinic where he died minutes later due to the severity of his injuries.

Regarding this atrocious act, the mayor of Aguachica, Greisy Roqueme, expressed her pain and assured that there will be no impunity.
“Aguachica is in mourning. The vile murder of the Lora Rincón family has shaken the hearts of all Aguachiquenses, we cannot allow violence to steal our hope. “That is why I demand that the National Government, the Minister of Defense and the Public Force turn their eyes towards the department of Cesar but above all towards our municipality of Aguachica and take urgent and effective measures, we cannot continue facing this wave of terror alone,” the official said.
