Three men have already been arrested in Guarayos for causing forest fires. They all went caught red-handed and transferred to police cells to give their statements as suspects.
The first captured was Grover CD, 36 years old, who He admitted to having carried out the burning of grasslands on a property in the Río Chico community, 46 kilometers from the El Puente municipality, in the Guarayos province.

The Minister of Government, Eduardo Del Castillo, indicated that the man pretended to be putting out fires, but finally He confessed that he burned the place ‘on commission’, hence was arrested.
The other two arrested are Felipe ET, 52 years old, and Juan José CM, 25 years old. Both were surprised burned grasslands on the ´El Pecho´ property in the San Luis community, Guarayos.
The two subjects were seized a gallon of fuel, that was used to start a fire. They were then transferred to Guarayos Police cells.
In addition, the Police and officials from the Forest and Land Authority (ABT) discovered that Felipe and Juan José had also been burning in the Guarayos Forest Reserve.
The Prosecutor’s Office has already initiated two different investigations against these three arrested subjects; however, all are being prosecuted for the same crime of forest fires.
