After the acquisition of two of its competitors, Javer and Derex, the Vinte housing entered a new phase of institutional strengthening, which also implied changes in its organizational structure. As of January 1, 2026, René Martínez Martínez will be the new director of the company, replacing René Jaime Mungarro, who has served in that position since January 2020.
Martínez Martínez is the current general director of Javer Corporate Services, a position he has held since March 2017, but before that he served as the firm’s director of operations.
In a statement sent to the Mexican Stock Exchange, it was detailed that with the appointment of Martínez Martínez “we will continue to give impetus to Vinte, now with its subsidiaries Javer and Derex, in a new stage of strengthening, growth and institutional development”.
Vinte He pointed out that these movements were endorsed by its Board of Directors, after having received the favorable opinion of the Corporate Practices Committee.
Jaime Mungarro is a founding partner of Vinte and was Director of Operations of the firm in 2001 and Deputy General Director as of 2019.
According to Vinteboth directors will continue as members of the company’s Board of Directors.
It consolidates
Vinte closed 2024 as the home building group largest in Mexico, after completing the acquisition of Javer, which consolidated its position in a market marked by concentration and the scarcity of new developments.
With 22 years of operation and a vertically integrated business model, the company managed to register 15,243 housing together during that year, positioning itself as one of the most active players in the sector.
