Field operations continue, as recently announced by the Director General of the National Migration Service, Roger Mojica Rivera. On this occasion, the operation carried out by immigration units was carried out in the province of Bocas de Toro, resulting in the verification of 57 people, of which 5 were foreigners who were staying illegally in the country, all with expired stays.
Mojica Rivera, head of the immigration portfolio, said that these inspections respond to instructions from the Executive, and that they will be extended nationwide.
Similarly, Mojica recalled that migration must comply with three precepts: it must be orderly, safe and regular.
In the first two weeks of management, the Immigration agency carried out operations in Panama City, with the purpose of identifying foreigners without proper papers. In total, 747 foreigners were verified, of which 152 had pending summons.
