Public Ministry and Forensic Entities work on the identification of victims and clarification of responsibilities
The Public Ministry opened a criminal investigation to clarify the causes of the ceiling of the Jet Set disco, to determine if there was negligence, structural failures or legal violations that could lead to criminal responsibilities.
The tragedy that has left a provisional balance of 231 deaths and about 189 injured.
The investigation is in charge of the Persecution Directorate, led by the attached attorney Wilson Camacho, together with the National District Prosecutor’s Office,
The Attorney General’s Office reported that the investigation is underway, in coordination with other instances of the State.
INACIF identifies
The National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) and the National Institute of Forensic Pathology have identified 230 people who died in the tragedy of the Jet Set.
In the list of fatalities supplied by these entities are identified even with the numbers of cards and passports.
