The Intendancy seized some 800 bottles of adulterated alcoholic beverages without a sanitary registration in the last two days and as a result of these controls, it suspended nine businesses for attending after hours.
The municipal secretary for Economic Development, Marco Agramont, reported this Wednesday on municipal controls.
“We intervened 45 establishments and seized more than 800 bottles of liquor adulterated or that do not have a sanitary registration; We also suspended nine economic activities that operated after 02:00 in Sur, Centro, San Antonio and Cotahuma ”, detailed Agramont, quoted by AMN.
The municipal mayor, Esteban Carrasco, specified that the closed establishments “did not have biosafety measures and the capacity was 100%.”

Agramont asked the owners of the nightclubs to respect the provisions that govern the municipality of La Paz and, given the arrival of the fourth wave of the pandemic, announced that “another additional restriction in the schedule will be evaluated and considered” .
The municipal secretary for Economic Development of La Paz also reported on the scope of the controls on the festivities of Todos Santos and Halloween.
“In the controls for Halloween, the Municipal Government seized 45 sets of paint on Sunday, October 31, used to draw terrifying masks on the face, because they did not have a health record or expiration date,” explained Agramont, who warned that the use of these types of products can cause allergies and other skin discomfort.
In addition, he recalled that the municipal agents intervened 205 ovens, of which three were suspended; in addition, they confiscated 220 kilos of stale bread. “There were rodents and mouse feces; also utensils in very bad condition ”, denounced Agramont.
Regarding the houses of terror, in La Paz 12 of these spaces operate with authorization in the Cotahuma, Centro, Sur and Mallasa macro-districts. “They will work this week more,” said the mayor’s authority.
