Sportivo Luqueño is serious business. They defeated Independiente de Campo Grande (3-1) in a direct clash for the top of the 2022 Intermediate Division.
Luqueño received the Barça cast today at the Feliciano Cáceres stadium for the fifth date of the competition.
El Chanchón took the win with goals from Julio Báez (19′), Gustavo Marecos (48′) and Diego Fernández (64′). Javier Domínguez (30′) made the temporary equalizer and Jorge Salinas left the visiting squad with 10 (31′) when he saw the red card.
With this result, Luqueño has 13 points and will continue for another week as the undefeated leader, regardless of what happens in the other matches.
The day began a little earlier with Sportivo Trinidense’s 2-0 victory over Fernando de la Mora at the Martín Torres de Santísima Trinidad.
