During the last 8 years of management of the Public Ministry, a total of 6,916,000 actions have been carried out through the institution’s different programs.
This was stated by the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, during a review offered in connection with the celebration of the 56th anniversary of the MP.
«This includes attention to 1,888,162 conclusive acts that have their basis, their support, 535,069 correspond to accusations presented, in this period that I am mentioning. Since 2017, 16,617 accusations have been made, 15,140 accusations have been presented and 6,800 people have been convicted, that is, zero impunity, added the prosecutor.
Bullying Program
Through the “Bullying is Not a Game” program, 2,614 activities have been carried out and 97,433 people have been trained.
He pointed out that they are working on campaigns to avoid and prevent drug consumption in the student population and highlighted that for this, 2,886 activities have been carried out and 113,618 citizens have been trained.

In the fight against pet abuse, 27,535 pets have been cared for; 525 animal abusers were prosecuted and 50 convictions were achieved, in addition to 10,726 articles in 344 activities.

With this program, the verification of 537,320 vehicles has been carried out, as well as 233,072 procedures have been streamlined. 33,375 offenders have also been prosecuted, of which 26,804 correspond to road accidents, and 947,885 citizens have been treated.
The Public Ministry Protects Venezuelan Women and Measures to Protect Women
At this point he detailed that 701 activities and training of 22,627 people have been carried out; 610,930 protection measures were issued to women at risk; 76,852 charges are counted; 50,417 accusations and 8,881 convictions.
Measures applied against femicides
Regarding cases of femicide, he said that 1,191 accusations have been processed, of which 1,133 femicides have been charged, and the conviction of 659 perpetrators was achieved.
