Wrapped in controversy not only for its alleged links with organized crime, but also for alleged evasion of tax payment, the coordinator of the Senators of Morena, Adam Augusto López Hernández, had to go out again yesterday to give explanations to public opinion.
In four days, already the instance of President Claudia Sheinbaum, she has been forced to give two press conferences, although she is not affected to speak before the media.
This time it coincided with the president in which the accusations against him are not Figure friend. He said he knows who they come and that at the time will make him known.
He also reported that he has not been summoned to appear either by the Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Tabasco or by the General of the Republic, after reiterating his willingness to present them as they request it.
The president of the Senate Political Coordination Board also clarified that depending on the activity carried out, he paid the Tax Administration System (SAT) between 33 and 35 percent taxes for the income he obtained in 2023, 2024 and what goes from 2025, after accusations that he would have evaded that responsibility.
López Hernández explained that in 2023 his income was 26.2 million pesos for business and professional activity, leases, wages and interests. The payment of taxes was 9.1 million.
In 2024, he received 61.5 million and the liquidated encumbrances were for 13.6 million. In the months of 2025, he said, his perceptions amounted to 24.9 million and paid 3.4 million to the treasury.
By making known that he carried out legal advice while he did not have any public office in the aforementioned years, he rejected that he has incurred conflict of interest.
“There is no conflict of interest while I am not a public servant,” he said in the press conference where he said that he gave advice between November and December 2023 and June and July 2024. However, in the latter dates he was a candidate for senator or had already been elected.
López Hernández said that the Rabatte tourist operating company never obtained a work or services contract during its administration as Governor of Tabasco, but acknowledged having provided legal advisory services.
