This Friday Bulletin 743 of the Ministry of Public Health registers 92 new cases of COVID-19. It was the highest number this week.
The difference could be due to the fact that 4,647 processed samples were reported in this Friday’s bulletin. The highest number of tests in these five days.
From Monday to yesterday, the report of the Ministry of Public Health on the situation of COVID-19 in the country had registered results as follows:

Yesterday, Thursday, 18 new positive cases were reported, having carried out 3,660 tests. The day before they registered only 38 cases new by COVID after processing 2,735 samples.
Tuesday, in bulletin #740 the cases that day totaled 72 and were carried out 2,983 tests. At the beginning of the week, on Monday there were 30 new cases with 3,885 samples.

As of today, 165 active cases are registered, while 573,590 have already been recovered. And ruled out 2,650,490 cases.
The hospital occupation today it is 5%, there are 110 occupied beds out of 2,373 available. In the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) 3% are registered, 20 occupied beds out of 585. The ventilators in use are 4%, 20 occupied out of 469.
The risk groups They remain the same since the beginning of the pandemic: people with diabetes and hypertension, health workers, pregnant women and those under 20 years of age.
The provinces that have registered new cases today are: La Altagracia (51), Santiago (20), Santo Domingo (8), the National District (6), La Romana, San Cristobal, Santiago Rodriguez, Valverde and San José de Ocoa with one case each.
