In addition, the requirement has already been approved by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
In this sense, for this action to be carried out, it must receive authorization from the board of directors. However, this request directly involves the presidential office. In 2023, the Executive Branch issued a legislative decree to strengthen public management through the aforementioned institution.
The news program pointed out that the renewed Servir law proposes the “valuation of positions,” that is, improving the salaries of public servants according to their level of hierarchy and responsibilities. Of the 12 salaries that would improve upon approval of the requirement, they would receive 3 more counting the July and December bonus. In addition, a CTS equivalent to one year’s salary and 30 days of paid annual vacation.
“Your monthly salary will depend on the position you have, but you will be recognized as having an equivalent bonus in July, another in December and a CTS deposit each year, a remuneration for each year, that is, it grants you as a worker the full benefits that are known,” said Ana Pari, former president of the board of directors of SERVIR a Punto Final.

PCM sent SERVIR a document for the hierarchization of positions, including the Presidential Office
The Sunday program reported that on March 25 of this year, The Presidency of the Council of Ministers sent a document to the National Civil Service Authority (SERVIR) its proposal for job tables, which includes the Presidential Office. The document proposes to reestablish the hierarchical order, between the monthly remunerations that they require, exceed the 22,000 soles.
“How would it be possible to clarify positions and salaries under this regime? It depends on the responsibilities they have, the profile they have and the position they occupy… What happens with elected officials? Would they also be covered by this law? Remember that they have minimum requirements… I mean, is their meritocracy that the people have elected them?” Ana Pari told Punto Final.
However, the news program stated that there is a detail that has caught their attention, because the position of the Presidency of the Republic does not have a proposed monthly salary. Although it was known that with the approval of the aforementioned requirement, whoever exercises the functions of President (a) of the Republic will enjoy more benefits that he did not have before, such as gratuities, CTS and paid vacations.
“We could establish not only a basic remuneration, but that this should be something basic and the other complementary to certain results, but who is going to decide that, again who establishes this legal framework,” added Pari.
MEF approved the proposal of the Presidential Office
Punto Final had access to the document, which the Ministry of Economy and Finance decided to approve the proposal sent by the Presidential Office. Therefore, the members of the aforementioned entity will be able to benefit from the new Servir Law if the board of directors of the last institution referred to gives its approval.
