The National Police of Peru regretted the loss of seven police officers who, according to their Twitter account, were ambushed when they were traveling in a police vehicle in the town of Natividad, in Vraem.

The events occurred in the Pichari district, Convención province, in Cusco, as a result of an ambush.
The attackers shot the driver of the EPF-602 license plate police van to make him lose control of the vehicle and simultaneously fired at the officers who were in the back.
